There were two flipovers and two paddlers lost overboard.

Fowl play is suspected by a visiting White Water Raft instructor from Colorado who was witness to the first flipover. He noted that the guide took the intrepid group right through the biggest most aggresive section of the rapid which resulted in a near death experience, which drained more than the colour from their faces.
